This painting was inspired by a trip to Clarksville, MS for the Blues Festival. There were several silos and lean-tos converted into B & B’s and the aluminum had taken on a beautiful patina. By the way….I highly recommend going to Clarksdale for the Blues Festival.

Bird in Hand did not originally have this name but I glanced at it one day and the red shape looked like a bird. I love birds so it was meant to be.
