I started this piece as a demonstration for Open Studio to let others watch how to manipulate Cold Wax and Oil. It was sooooo ugly and I'm sure I turned everyone off of the medium but when I brought it back to the studio and I had time to look at it, there was some great areas to work with. So, a little of this and a little of that and it turned into one of my favorite paintings.
