Acrylic and Mixed Media on 12 x 12 cradle board. Float mounted in a hand finished maple frame.
The name of this painting, Journey, took me on a journey for many months. After layers of collage and sanding (on repeat) the result is a painting with so much history of back and forth. When viewing, it makes one question what was there....you can still see bits of the history peeking through. The painting is enhanced with layers of glazing creating depths of many colors.
